A magazine does not fully exist until someone holds it. On August 20, Galleria’s first print issue stopped being a file on a screen and became an object in a room.
The evening ran black and red. Guests posed with the cover; a red G anchored the backdrop; the first copies off the press went from hand to hand.
The issue they were holding leads with Sanjay Srinivasan and carries the columns in full, alongside work that never reaches the site. Print is the slow half of Galleria — made to be kept, like the evening that launched it.
