Dr. Jae Oh has built his practice around helping people stay active long after the pain is gone. From Windermere Chiropractic, he works with professional athletes, business leaders, and families who want to move well, recover properly, and maintain the physical health required by their routines.
His interest in chiropractic began through personal experience. Before becoming a doctor, he spent years dealing with chronic neck pain and recurring headaches. Living with that discomfort gave him a clear understanding of how persistent pain can affect concentration, energy, sleep, and everyday activities. When chiropractic care began to improve his quality of life, it also introduced him to a profession he had not previously considered.
That experience continues to influence the way he treats patients today. Because he remembers what it was like to search for answers, he places significant value on listening, understanding each person’s routine, and looking at the factors that may be contributing to the problem. Treatment is not limited to the area where the pain appears. It often involves evaluating movement, posture, mobility, training habits, work demands, and the way the body responds over time.
Dr. Oh studied Molecular Biology and Microbiology at the University of Central Florida before attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated cum laude. His academic background, combined with experience in a Level 1 trauma center, gave him a broad perspective on patient care and the importance of understanding the body as a connected system.
At Windermere Chiropractic, his work includes hands-on care, rehabilitation, corrective exercises, and patient education. The process varies depending on the patient, but the objective is consistent: to improve function and help people return to the activities that are important to them.
Athletes are a significant part of his practice. Their bodies are exposed to repetitive movement, impact, intense training, and limited recovery periods, which often require a more detailed approach to mobility and injury prevention. Dr. Oh works with patients from different sports and levels of competition, including professional performers whose careers depend on physical consistency.
His work with WWE Superstar and former Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri reflects this part of the practice. Professional wrestling requires strength, coordination, flexibility, and the ability to recover from a demanding performance schedule. For athletes working at that level, care is not reserved for moments of injury. It becomes part of maintaining the body throughout training, travel, and competition.
Dr. Oh also understands athletic performance from personal experience. As a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and Spartan Race competitor, he is familiar with the demands of strength training, endurance, and recovery. This background helps him communicate with athletes in practical terms and understand how treatment fits into a broader training routine.
Many of the same principles also apply to executives and entrepreneurs. Their physical strain may come from long hours at a desk, frequent travel, interrupted sleep, and schedules that leave little time for recovery. Neck pain, lower-back discomfort, stiffness, and reduced mobility can gradually become part of the routine until they begin to interfere with work and quality of life.
In these cases, Dr. Oh’s approach considers how professional habits affect the body and what adjustments can realistically be incorporated into daily life. The goal is not to prescribe an idealized routine that a patient cannot maintain, but to create a plan that works within the demands of that person’s schedule.
Families also represent an important part of the practice. Patients may arrive because of a specific injury, but many continue care because they want to remain active with their children, return to exercise, or prevent recurring problems from becoming more limiting. Over time, this creates a relationship in which the doctor understands not only the patient’s medical history, but also the activities and responsibilities that shape their life.
In 2025, Dr. Oh received Palmer College of Chiropractic’s 10 Under 10 Alumni Award, which recognizes graduates who have made a notable contribution to the profession during the first decade of their careers. He has also been recognized by the Florida Chiropractic Association and named among Orlando Style’s top chiropractors.
Alongside his clinical work, he has remained involved in education and mentorship. Returning to Palmer College as a guest lecturer allowed him to share his experience with students preparing to enter the profession. For Dr. Oh, this is an important part of contributing to chiropractic beyond his own practice.
His career has developed from a personal experience with pain into a practice that serves a wide range of patients with different physical demands. What connects them is the desire to continue participating fully in their work, sport, family life, and daily routines.
At Windermere Chiropractic, care is shaped around that reality. The emphasis remains on helping patients understand their bodies, recover with greater confidence, and maintain the movement they need for the lives they have built.
